With and for goldsmith Stefan Tschirner I've created an environment that imitates natural processes to create organic pieces of jewellery. Each piece is a snapshot of this artificial growth process.

How do fish fins bend from almost flat into doubly-curved surfaces under load? I freeze-dried a couple of fins and analyzed their morphological features with the help of computer tomography and finite element method.

During my employment at German lifting equipment specialist CARL STAHL I created the first version of a product configurator that calculates the statics of weight lifting equipment fully automatic and visualizes the final product.

Together with my unimate Sebastian Feig I implemented a 23-neuron network on a segway-style robot in order to avoid collisions with only one infrared sensor. You can learn more about our project here.

We created this very minimal system that can crawl like a caterpillar from only two servos. The creature does not have any sensors build in except of the servo motor position data. My unimate Sebastian and I were able to make it walk with the help of neural oscillation.

In the 2nd semester of my studies in Humanoid Robotics at BHT Berlin, my uni fellows and I took on the challenge of developing a manta ray-inspired wing that could propel a maritime robot.

I've worked as a VFX supervisor on Erec Brehmers full-length debut movie LA PALMA. The movie deals with the relationship of a young couple struggling with their individual past.

In 2020 a couple of friends and I took part in the WIR vs. VIRUS HACKATHON challenge. We developed the concept of Corona Connect, that will connect elderly people with the younger generation more easily.

This documentary has been created by director Marcus Groß and me for the public broadcaster RBB. Marcus researches on various surveillance projects and searches for answers to the security vs. privacy dilemma.

This documentary series, I've been working on, deals with the production of food in Berlins surroundings. In four episodes the story of hardworking farmers who have to bring in the harvest of the summer of 2018 in record heat are being told.

Jules Petru Fricker, also known under their alter ego LEGZ, presented their solo-debut “between” end of the year 2021 at Ballhaus Ost Berlin [1]. In 2020 I had the honor to shoot this transformational photo series with them.

My journey to the US in 2018 inspired me to create this mythical calendar. It contains photographs that I took while visiting my relatives in the southern and mid western parts of the states. See the calendar here.

This short film was my graduation project of the media design apprenticehip I finished in 2016. The time limit for the facilitation of the entire project was 48h excluding the preproduction work.

For humans it is hard to really access and understand time on a bigger scale. This initial thought lead to the creation of a calendar that visualizes a span of 100 years, a century, essentially a lifespan of days.

When my father turned 60 we decided to brew him a very nice franconian beer. I developed a brand for decorating the limited bottles manufactured this way.
